D T Smith Building Services specialises in traditional walling and stonework in Ilkley, including the construction, repair and restoration of stone walls for residential and commercial clients. Led by a skilled craftsman with over 25 years of knowledge and experience, we provide a bespoke building service that combines traditional craft, artistic flair and a friendly, professional approach. We work closely with every client to understand their ideas and create stonework that complements the character of their property and outdoor space.

From small garden walls and repairs to complete landscaping projects, new boundary walls, patios, paving, steps and archways, every project is completed with care, skill and close attention to detail. We can also design and build distinctive garden features, including stone seating, raised areas, entrances and bespoke features, using locally sourced stone wherever possible.

Our masonry services include rebuilding damaged or unstable walls and traditional repointing carefully matched to the existing stonework. We take genuine pride in everything we build, and our hardworking ethos and commitment to quality are reflected in the fact that much of our work comes through personal recommendations from satisfied clients.
